Why am i so scared of blood test?

okay i'm not scared of the pain i really don't care about the pain. Is just the needle, like i'm not scared of shots because it goes in my arm but i'm scared of blood test because it goes in the vein and i'm sensitive around the radius where they take the blood test. But why am i so sensitive there? i think i been paranoid or something ? haha when i was a kid every time i went to children hospital i did blood test and i was just afraid of the pain but i didn't really care much because i knew it was going to be over. Saline drip blood running up?

It's completely normal. It does look scary but in all reality it's not much blood escaping. I have had 3 children and I have had an iv 3 different times and each time I have had the blood in the line as well. I think it happens more when the iv site is in an area that is more mobile. Ex. Hand, wrist, inner elbow ect. I think the movement causes a time drop of blood to be forced up the line. She will be fine it will not harm her and u did the right thing by asking!! Good luck

Think I could be pregnant?

I am sleeping so much lately; I slept 14 hours yesterday. I am eating more and my boyfriend said my stomach is bigger (could be attributed to the food, I know, but I'm not a heavy eater usually; it's very abnormal for me to be eating in the quantities that I am). My breasts/nipples are sore and the veins on them are much more visible. Last week I had the worst headaches, dizziness, and nausea spells. I haven't had my period since the 14th of May, but my period isn't really regulated and kind of comes and goes when it wants. Improving my baseball swing?

I'm 15 and my swing has left my hands blistered, calloused and hurting over the last couple years. The blisters/callouses are at the top of my palm at the base of each finger. I grip my bat on my knuckles so I can get a quicker swing. Recently, a couple of my callouses have blistered and torn off and now there are just small callouses and my hands hurt when I swing. Is there any way I should hold the bat differently? (I currently own the Mizuno Pro G3 batting gloves with little padding. Should I just get new gloves?) Why does my mouth hurt when I eat pineapple?

I know that Pineapple has a high acidic level but when I eat it cut into pieces it doesn't burn. Only when I eat it straight from the skin does it sting. It makes my mouth numb, and it burns like I ate something hot. My hypothesis is that when i eat if from the skin the viens are leading straight to the skin wall, but when I cut it it cuts those veins, and it's not as "strong". Any help?

Running shoes for shin splints?

I have been struggling with shin splints for 3 years I currently weigh 86 pounds and i am 5 ft tall. I run long distance (cross country 5k's, 1600,3200,800 in track) i wear a mizuno wave alchemy right now, but i purchased a Nike Free 2 this weekend. I would like to run in these shoes but im worried they may exacerbate my shin splints. I have heard both good and bad about these shoes for shin splints, (strengthening muscles to help shins, and just causing shin pain) i was wondering if i should just start out wearing them once a week and gradually increase use? what would be the most helpful way?

Those are the same shoes I used to use, but I'm pretty sure they stopped making them. I am now using the wave rider 13's and I notice minimal differences if any. They have the same fit for me and cushion in all the same spots. Hope I helped!

Do i need xstiff or stiff flex for my irons and driver?

I went to golf galaxy and got my swing speed tested, the machine said i swing my driver at 128 mph. Now i was ripping it because i was currently in a long drive contest and i wanted to see how fast i could swing( i got up to 132 my highest) i feel on the course i would never swing this hard with a driver. so im assuming i would cut it back to maybe 115 do i still need a xstiff? As for my irons i play mizuno mp33s that are an inch short obviously i dont swing as fast as a driver so would stiff flex be better suited for me?

Best catchers mitt for 2011?

i am not a catcher, but i do know a lot about gloves. i have felt many of them including gloves from easton, wilson, nokona, rawlings, and many others. i have seen many great gloves out there. my recomendations to others is usually a pro preferred or an a2000. these gloves are high-end, although hard to break in. for you, since you used a mizuno and love it, i would stick with a mizuno, probably the classic pro. it is nice and feels great. i use nokona glove oil that comes in a tube to keep it in good condition when i am storing it. i also use franklin dr.glove glove oil for faster breaking-in. i wouldn't recommend putting it in a microwave. it will kill your glove. i hope this helps and good luck!

hello, correctly 18 years old in 5 days I'll be 19 I'm looking forward to see if i have what it takes to join the united states army i did a lot of research in regards of what to expect physically but i have been diagnosed with asthma at the age of 10..now, i have not had any problems with asthma that i need an inhaler, in fact i only used an inhaler on my first attack, my second attack was of the age of 12 no inhaler needed. I do get some symptoms but after being exposed to lets say a cat for days and the symptoms are very light no inhaler needed..the first time this occurred i was at my friends house celebrating the new years..i stayed at the house for about a week and only had symptoms on the 6th day..we didn't leaver the house much and the place is not very big...my concern is not exercise or long runs my concern is the CS gas..can i expect to have an asthma attack if i'm exposed to the gas for the short period of time they make the trainees go through it, if so how bad will the attack be, how long do you think it will last after i leave the chamber and is there a death march that you have to complete like in marines recon for graduation to become a part of an infantry unit. I am a 27 year old woman, I live with my partner and little boy who is nearly 3. I currently work as a Hairdresser 3 days a week ,but have been offered a job as a trainee dental nurse after applying out of interest. I have really started to dislike my job over the last few years. I love the people I work with but find the job stressful and I don't enjoy it anymore. I have been interested in becoming a dental nurse for some time but no dental practise has given me a chance due to no experience. The only problem is as I will be a trainee nurse I will be earning �3000 less a year doing the same hours as I do now, and also will no longer be getting tips. I will have to go back to college which i'm more than happy to do and the course is 2 years long.I would like more children in the future and do not want to leave it years and years. The main dilemma i'm in is that do I stay in a job I cannot progress any further in but can manage quite well financially and have more children whenever the time is right, or start a whole new which means going back to college and earning a lot less money but has the potential for me to go as far as I wish, so in the future I will be earning an excellent wage, but have to put having more children on hold. If i were you, i would definitely go with the asics volleyball shoes. Mizuno shoes work great for a while, but tend to start to get slippery after about a year, depending on the team you play on, they may offer a specific shoe, my club; a very large club with over 100 teams uses asics volleyball shoes for both the boys and girls teams, if such a great club uses asics, why not get them too.

I own a nice pair of Mizuno cleats for my softball team. Although my cleats don't have inserts this year, I had a pair when I was younger, there should be a opening on the inside of the cleat, possibly from the top, or to the side. I have the mizuno VS-1 volleyball knee pads, and they're comfortable and all but the top part always tucks behind the pad whenever i bend my knees and it's SO annoying! also if im at practice and were doing exercises where I have to bend our knees they start sliding down under my knee and its super annoying. And im 100% sure they fit, i got a size Medium and a Large is way too big and a small is way too small. there is a job I really want to apply for, problem is you have to have a disability to apply. I am dyslexic and epileptic ( A small form of it, I rarely have seizures and haven't had one in ages; what normally happen is I blank out when highly stressed but I don't black out) My problem is epilepsy can sometime be a huge hindrance to employment it is not something predictable. O.k so basically I now have a HND in construction and Property and Im unsure where I can go to next. I do not want to go onto do a degree as I'd much prefer to go straight into a job. But I'm unsure what roles I should be looking for or where to look? I've searched high and low on the internet for trainee schemes but nothing seems to be available. I would be quite happy just going into the construction industry and starting out as a labourer, but I don't even know how to get into those because I have no on site experience. Some advice please.

The skin around your eyes is soooo delicate. It is probably done because of the rubbing. You shouldn't tug or rub on the skin around the eyes it causes dark circles, and also causes premature wrinkles. If they bother you, you can try slicing a potato in half and placing them on your eyes for a while. It differs with people so maybe it works for you it may not. If that doesn't work then try using concealer. Good luck.

Any recommendations on new irons?

blades don't have the forgiveness you might be looking for but any cavity back will give you a bigger sweet spot. I play the MP 53 irons and the new mp-t11 52 and 56 wedges from mizuno and love them. The irons are a couple of years old but until you are playing on TV you should be good with anything new. Technology is huge in the newer clubs and you may have to recheck your club distance. I increased my average club distance about 7 yards per club, only because I updated my 1990 tommy armour 845's. It is hard to give them up but demo something at your local shop.

Are the new mizuno mp 68 irons USGA conforming?

Not sure why you think any reputable company that just released a new line of clubs would not make USGA conforming irons... but hey, it never hurts to be inquisitive. However, there's a fine line between being inquisitive and having common sense. You seem to lack the latter.

I don't see why not. Some people have powder-coated their irons (and drivers), some have done DIY black oxide finishes. You'd have to strip the chrome off first for anything to be successful. Be mindful that this will decrease the weight of the clubhead, and unless that weight is put back by the anodizing process (or by other means), you'll end up with irons that will feel different (lighter) than what you're used to, possibly hurting their playability.

Unfortunately I made A very poor choice and IV'd (or so i thought) medication. I think I may of injected 4mg of Dilaudid into an artery, there is a huge bump on my forearm in an irregular shape. It looks like a massive mosquito bight I would say mabye 4cm across. There is also lots of little bumps all around it too. I thought I was in the vein when I injected but when I was dose I got a very weird pricing type pain throughout my arm. I have no pain now and feel fine but this lump is scaring me. When I push down on the forearm it turns white and it turns back to pink within 10 seconds. Im not sure if this is just placebo but im feeling a great pressure in the back on my neck now. Rolled Ankle Healing Time?

I was playing frisby with my family and I rolled my ankle pretty bad. I wasn't able to walk for the first 5 minutes without mild pain. I've put ice on it and have treated it with Epsom salt. I have a visable vein on the inside of my left leg that is about 15cm long starting just below the knee and going about half way down and i have had it forever. I currently work as a city employee as a waste water treatment facility operator trainee, It is a good job and doesn't make to bad of money but I just don't feel satisfied. I took ROTC in high school in anticipation of a law enforcment career because I have always wanted to be a game warden but just didn't have the time for college. I will do what ever it takes to accomplish my goals I just don't know if I should give up what I have now? Any ideas on how I could go about this career? My fianc� says men look good in uniform so she's on board.

I'm 18 and want to be an estate agent. After doing some research, from what i'm guessing, you have to become a trainee negotiator first. I was doing a little bit of research for you and you could probably get $65-70. Not a lot, but it's what they are worth. Plus, you don't even have the complete set missing a 5 iron. I hope you can sell your irons, but don't expect to get much for them.

Infected lymph node in groin?

I have suffered with cysts in my groin for months. I told my doctor as I had began to suffer with them behind my ears and on my face. He gave me a course of antibiotics and said if that doesn't work then there's not much else I can give u. Next to the cyst in my groin a long lump appeared and I thought the cyst had spread into a vein. I left it for about a month but then it became hard inflammed and very swollen. The doc has said I'm on a strong course of abtibiotics which I began on wed. For tge last week u have felt terrible. No energy, tired, a bit queezy and have the feeling that I'm losing my mind amd am not really here...if that makes sense! Three days in the infammation has gone down but the lymph is about an inch long and hard...will antibiotics get rid of.it or do I need to be worried that its cancer? i generally don't like black shoes but those are pretty wicked awesome. The veins on my hands started bulging yesterday, will they go away?

I started working at Mcdonalds and i use my hands and wrists a lot. The problem was, the night before, i put these wrist guards on and slept with them on. They sort of cut off my blood circulation from my hand (but I didn't notice when I woke up). I went to work with the wrist guards on also, and after I noticed my veins were swollen. I'm not sure if they were swollen before or after work, but they are still swollen right now. I'm very worried cause I heard that varicose veins don't really go away.Has anyone else had experience with this?

I'm an 18 year old recent graduate. I got hired to work at mcdonalds at the beginning of my senior year. I wasnt very well trained, the crew trainer was a guy around my age at the time and there was another trainee who was a year younger (she also complained about the lack of effort on his part). All he would do is flirt, which got very annoying. After my 4 hour/4 day training week i got transfered to the mcdonalds im currently at. At the start it was very difficult i had to learn everything as i went on because when i asked for help the managers would get annoyed one even accused me of being a whinner, which i most certainly am not! So i kept my mouth shut after that, when i made i mistake i learned from it and even though it made them very angry i ignored it. Ive gotten 3 write ups so far, and it upsets me so much. All my co workers have been working there for years, out of the new crew members im the only one whos stuck around for so long. Ive wanted to quit so many times but i dont because the money is very much needed at home. Just last week i graduated on wednesday, on tuesday one of my managers calls me and says "Where are you? Had you any idea your suppost to be working right now?" Never had i been scheduled to work on a tuesday i mostly worked weekends and one or two days of the week. I had never before missed work and when i do work im always 30 mins early (being late irritates me) I told her i must of misread my schedule and apologized. She told me i was getting a write up for not going. i let it go that time and decided not to be so hard on myself. On saturday i was scheduled to work, when i went back on sunday a manager told me i had yet ANOTHER write up for being short 2 dollars and 84 cents. So i got suspended for a week!!!!!!!! I am aware you can only be short 2 dollars but one of my other co workers was over 5 dollars and she didnt get a write up because she got a perfect score on both of our mistery shoppers. I hate how they do this!! i am sick of mcdonalds i feel really stupid working there, can somebody please tell me what i should do?

One testicle feels mushy !?

Let me explain. Both of my testicles feel normal, and I don't think I have any bumps on them, certainly not any hard ones. However, I have a question regarding my left testicle, and I'm not sure if this is a stupid question, but I don't want to risk my health. In my scrotum on the left side, not on my testicle but basically above it, it feels very mushy. It feels like there are large soft veins on that side of the scrotum, yet the other is absent of this. My left testicle hands lower than my right testicle as well. I've checked the symptoms of testicular cancer, and I have none of them, but is this something I should worry about or is it completely normal and what does it mean?

K-pop Korean Idol Trainee questions!? HELP :D?

So from what you're telling me, you have a decent chance of getting in. Most korean companies have websites that tell you how you can audition. You probably already know but SM, JYP, and YG are korea's three biggest companies so it will be harder to get in but they accept more foreigners. And most companies provide language lessons if you need them. Korean companies pretty much pay for everything (dorm, food, etc) and they give you a small allowance monthly to buy things that you want. Since you live in the US you should probably audition through mail or email, the websites tell you the email or address. If you pass that, they will ask you to fly to korea for one or two live auditions. Pros- is that you're famous ( you have fans, etc) cons- you'll be super tired, you might get stalked by fans, the company might starve you or put you on a diet, and many idols get sick some how, etc. Yup i think that's it...oh yeah and your age is perfect.

Doc, nurse, trainee laughs at mentally I'll patient?

when i didnt feel well my friend who also is a male took me to my doctor who is an older male about 40 years old, and i had suicide idealation at the time...my doc, a nurse and a trainee came inside the office and told me whats going on and why im feeling the way im feeling and i didnt really tell him much, i kept everything inside of me and kept quiet..but i did tell him that i almost killed myself that day...and my doc told me how....i just stared at him and didnt say anything and i kinda looked down at the floor because of the embarrasement of what was going on. then my doc looked toward my friend to say whats going on and he pretty much told him that i was thinking of ending my life and didnt know what to do. the doc said that he felt very unconfortable and that he was going to call the police to take me to the hospital...when i acted like i wasnt hearing anything i was thinking oh crap hes goin to take me to the hospital with cops and ambulance jeez....then i told the doc "but i feel better now" and then he kinda laughed with the trainee and the nurse, and i kinda smurked but then felt sadness that they were laughing while i was having a crisis. does any doctor do this or did anyone experienced this???

Getting a new baseball glove?

i'm 16 about to turn 17 and i'm a junior in high school. i have been useing mizuno baseball gloves for most of my life and havent really had a complaint about them.. but i'm going into my sienour year and i wanna try something diffrent. i was looking at buying a Louisville Slugger Omaha Pro OPRO1125, but i'm not sure on the quality of omaha gloves or if i should just stick with getting a new mizuno.

I noticed a lump growing under my skin is this dangerous?

For the past 3 days I have had a splitting migraine that has been making me sick to my stomach. Today I noticed a lump growing under the skin on my temple (right side) on a vein. What could it be? Is it potentially dangerous? It itches but it is NOT a bug bite. Yes I have an appointment but its not until friday (this friday) so even though its 2 days off I am concerned. I have not bumped my head or been hit there or anything like that so please help me figure out what it could be. It is skin colored but very hard.

i thought last month that i might have been pregnant and now i am ttc. but i cannot stop noticing that my breasts have been hurting for almost 2 months now since my last period which was 16th may i thought i may have been pregnant when my period was one day late and i got spotting that lasted two days on the 12th june. and now i have larger breasts with blue veins through them and on my stomach and on my legs. ive always had visible veins and i dont think im pregnant cause i had a blood test and two urine tests and all were negative so what could be the other causes for this

What should i get for a 3 wood?

So I am pretty set on my clubs for this year and the next few but I am missingh fairway metals. Price is not really a concern because I could care less so thats outa the way. I am around a 12 hcp and never really felt the need to use a 3 wood, or even a 5 wood but I figured if I want to improve I should get one and use it. Is it possible to get my hair from jet black to even a brown?

basically, my natural colour is light brown, i also used to have alot of blond highlights. When i was about 12 i found a bottle of black die and put it in my hair ( i'm 15 now) so basically i've had black hair for 3 years. i only use bottle dies to do my roots about every 2 months sometimes more. About a year ago i went to a salon to try and get the black out of my hair, and because they salon had only trainees the boss would not allow them to try and get my hair a light brown colour incase it broke. they got it like a copperish colour in some places and some places were black. I just want a simple technique to simly strip the colour from my hair as im really sick of black hair, i just want to get rid of it and even get my hair to a medium brown colour,, if anyone know how PLEASE let me know MUCH APPRECIATED!!

New golf irons advice?

I'm looking to get new irons to replace my old Mizuno MX900 irons. I've narrowed my search down to 3 sets of irons after a few trips to the local Edwin Watts and their simulator. The three sets I've narrowed my search down to are the Adams CB2 black irons, the Titleist AP1s, and the Cleveland CG16s. I hit the 6 iron demo well with all three but am more concerned about the long irons as they don't have them to try. My average round is anywhere from an 80 to 100 depending on the day. I'm looking for irons that will consistently help me keep the ball straight as I tend to push the ball to the right. Any advice from golfers who have played or demo'd any or all of these irons would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

What Catchers mitts are the best?

Do you mean one for a race? If so that won't work as well. If you use one pair of shoes for both then they will be worn out faster and you will be buying shoes more often than if you were to buy the right pair of shoes for each. 6 HCP golfer looking for good Semi blade, or blade irons? OPINIONS HELP A LOT?

I am a 6 handicap, and i am playing Nike Ignite. all of my teem mates have moved onto blades, or semi blades. I am currently looking at the Mizuno MP-63 and the other Mizuno forged irons. I have also been looking at the Nike VR combo set. I was hitting my friends titleist AP-2 s and i hit them solid. so you don't have to tell me that blades are hard to hit. Panic attack Plz Help?

For 3 years I have several panic attacks , I had too much stress and anxiety. Last 6 months I have a feeling that something is moving around my forehead , i dont know like I feel blood running around my forehead veins also my veins are little swollen sometimes , this mostly happens after panic attack. I dont know what to do how to stop it. I use some anti depressive pills (when needed) but nothing helps. I did MRI scan and all was ok with my head. Can this be because of stress , has anyone idea how to stop it
