Should i pierce my tongue at home?

i have wanted this done for so long and my mom said i could still get it but i dont have 50 bucks so i went online and got a kit for about 25. my friend did hers and she said just look at the bottom so your not going through a vein and you'll be fine. i also have pierced my lip twice (snakebites) and nose and ears 6 times eyebrow twice and gauged my ears. so i guess u could say i have experience nothing got infected and i have done my friends noses and lips before. should i go for it? i just dont trust other people near my face with needles. that's why i did it all myself. anyone have any input?
