What's wrong with my foot?

Earlier today I hit my foot really hard on the sharp end of a table and it hurt for a couple of minutes. As I was walking to go grab a few things it started hurting a lot but I kind of ignored it and didn't think it was a big deal. Right when I took off my sock, it's HUGEEEE I think I hit the vein really hard because my foot is massive and hurts soo much! What do you think is wrong with it? I'm going to the doctor but I want to know ahead of time :/
