What are some good racing flats?

Allright, i'm a runner, and offseasons kind of get boring. So I like to do those fun runs, just to see how i'm doing, and to see if i can win any of the prizes that they give out. Now my mizuno inspires are good shoes, but in races i want somthing a bit lighter. More of a spike, but without spikes, racing flats. So I was wondering what are some good options, considering that i like a shoe with a tighter fit to it, and not too much toe off. So help? I was thinking about Nike XC streak 2's, yes, or no. Ideas?
