Doc, nurse, trainee laughs at mentally I'll patient?

when i didnt feel well my friend who also is a male took me to my doctor who is an older male about 40 years old, and i had suicide idealation at the time...my doc, a nurse and a trainee came inside the office and told me whats going on and why im feeling the way im feeling and i didnt really tell him much, i kept everything inside of me and kept quiet..but i did tell him that i almost killed myself that day...and my doc told me how....i just stared at him and didnt say anything and i kinda looked down at the floor because of the embarrasement of what was going on. then my doc looked toward my friend to say whats going on and he pretty much told him that i was thinking of ending my life and didnt know what to do. the doc said that he felt very unconfortable and that he was going to call the police to take me to the hospital...when i acted like i wasnt hearing anything i was thinking oh crap hes goin to take me to the hospital with cops and ambulance jeez....then i told the doc "but i feel better now" and then he kinda laughed with the trainee and the nurse, and i kinda smurked but then felt sadness that they were laughing while i was having a crisis. does any doctor do this or did anyone experienced this???
