Does it matter to you if your McFlurry is mixed by hand or by machine?

I'm a manager trainee at McDonald's and I'm embarrassed that I do not know how to use the McFlurry machine. Everytime I use it, M&M or Oreo goes everywhere. So do you care how it is mixed? And how do you use the machine properly?
