Hi girls. Is it common for one partener in a lesbian relationship to be submissive?

Hi Im 21 and I really lke a woman at work. She's older than me (38) but very attractive. We've had a few encounters leading to full sex, the first of which occurred at a work party. I'm a trainee and she's an area manager but it turns me on that she's stronger, more powerful and has more money than me lol. Besides that, whenever we meet, she always dominates me phsically and emotionally but I love it as it comes naturally to me. Is this a common dynamic in lesbian relationships, I'm new to this so any answers would be appreciated. Thanks
